Michael Allen

Comedian, writer, and performance artist, Michael Allen is best known for his surreal character work as GoatVsFish, a fixture in Los Angeles comedy and festival circuits. With a background in sociology and theater, he blends absurdism, satire, and playful audience interaction that are thought-provoking and hilarious.


He has appeared at major venues including The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, The Ice House, and The Whiskey A Go-Go, and has been seen on America's Got Talent, Kill Tony, Adult Swim and more. His alter ego GoatVsFish is a cult favorite at comedy festivals, comic-cons, podcasts, streaming shows, and in the Punk rock music scene.


Michael taught english in Niigata for two years where he studied Japanese and passed the JLPT level N3.  He brings his quick wit and offbeat perspective—sometimes as himself, sometimes as GoatVsFish—making it unpredictable, funny, and uniquely engaging for both Japanese and English learners.

Michelle MaliZaki

Japanese American stand-up comedian, writer, and podcast host who blends sharp wit with cultural insight. Born and raised in Japan and now based in Los Angeles, Michelle has built a reputation for her clean(ish), playful comedy that bridges Japanese and American perspectives.

She has opened for world-renowned comedians including Russell Peters and DL Hughley, performed at top comedy clubs like The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, and Ice House, and brought her unique voice to festivals across North America. Offstage, Michelle is also the founder of Pen Paper Palooza, a stationery festival celebrating creativity and community.
